A holding company assembled a portfolio of 11 companies across four market segments - hotel & lodging, food & beverage, coffee, and beauty & wellness - with aggressive plans for continued organic growth and additional acquisitions. Holding company leadership quickly recognized that it needed to assess the IT security and compliance posture of its acquired brands as well as implement the needed IT systems and tools to realize the operating efficiencies critical to its future success.

Solution

Pepper Foster was engaged to facilitate information gathering from key internal subject matter experts focused on identifying opportunities for reducing cybersecurity risk and improving internal collaboration and operating efficiencies for the company. A prioritized set of recommendations was developed with cost estimates and a proposed implementation roadmap to assist the company in realizing these efficiencies. Company executive leadership was provided the information they needed to make key IT decisions and investments.
